Once again, Canada Disc & Tape Inc. was chosen by the WCMA (Western Canadian Music Alliance) to handle the manufacturing of the Official CD Compilation. This year, the Western Canadian Music Festival featured more than 100 live acts performing at premiere venues in downtown Vancouver.

The WCMA Awards were held at the venerable Commodore where "Loverboy" was inducted into the WCMA Hall of Fame. Lead singer Mike Reno (front) is pictured here with Stuart Cousins owner of "The Vinyl Diner" along with his wife Dayna Lozowchuk who is also our Saskatoon office administrator and Doug Wong, VP of Canada Disc & Tape Inc.

Groups featured on this limited edition CD include: 54-40, Boy, The Turn, Retrograde, Kent McAlister, Jets Overhead, Stephen Franke & Noises From The Toolshed, Mongoose, Ridley Bent, Freeflow, Green Door Club, The Vincent Black Shadow, Tin Foil Phoenix, Krysta Scoggins, The Perms, The Blue Alarm, Sandy Foster, Smokekiller and Laurell Hubick.

WCMA CDThe CDs along with a nifty delegate bag were only available to delegates of the 2005 WCMA Awards. However, since Canada Disc & Tape sponsored the tote bags, we have a few extra ones available on a first come first served basis. Just contact your nearest office and mention that you read about it on our Web News to get your free tote bag! Remember, once they're gone - they're gone!!
