December 2004: News![]() As another year winds to a close, we'd like to thank all our loyal customers for their continued support. We've experienced some tremendous growth this year with the addition of several new staff members. And, in response to customer requests, we have added to the list of products and services that we provide. One such product is Dual Layer DVD+R media which is capable of storing 8.5 Gigabytes of information. As soon as the drives became available, our various departments upgraded to Pioneer A-108 recorders which support the DVD+R DL discs. Our DVD lab can now provide clients with DVD-9 check discs prior to replication and we currently stock the blank media. ![]() In the new year we will be celebrating Alberta's centennial and what better way to do that than with the release of the official song for "Alberta" written by Mary Kieftenbeld and produced by Dave Pierce. Audio mastering was done by Chris Sturwold at This Is Oddyo Inc. (conveniently located on the second floor of our Edmonton office). We'd like to thank the government of Alberta for selecting Canada Disc & Tape Inc. to handle the manufacturing of these commemorative CDs. Please note that all our offices will be closed at noon on Dec. 24 for Christmas holidays and will reopen on Monday, January 3, 2005. In the meantime, all of us at Canada Disc & Tape Inc., DVD Masters and audiomastering.com would like to wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! |
