February 2004: News![]() For the retail market, Digipak has becoming increasing popular because it is an attractive and versatile form of alternate packaging. Digipaks can be configured with multiple panels, extra pockets to hold printing and booklets can even be glued directly onto one or more panels. Our CSRs will be happy to discuss the many options that are available. This month, we've highlighted just two examples of recent projects using Digipaks with great success! "Alive From The Vault - Vol. 1" is a compilation of some of the best artists that have played their music on the CKUA network. Designed by Michael Danglemaier, this package features 3 panels with a 12 page full color booklet attached to the back panel. Artists featured on this CD are James Keelaghan, Kate Rusby, The Co-Dependents, Michael Kaeshammer, Harry Manx, Angelite, Rick Boston, Steve Pineo, Marry Jane Lamond, Stephen Fearing, Mae Moore & Lester Quitzau, Martin Sexton, the Wyrd Sisters, Bob Jahrig, Ellen McIlwaine, the Corb Lund Band, Maria Dunn and Paul Bromley. ![]() Another great compilation of Alberta talent uses a 2 Panel Digipak with a pocket which hold a 12 page full color booklet. "Made in Alberta" was produced for the Alberta Foundation for the Arts which is funded by the Government of Alberta. This CD features groups who have received support from the foundation and includes: the Corb Lund Band, the McDades, Mike Stack, Kelly Alanna, Terrain, bleach bone choir, the Sandro Dominelli Quintet, john wort hannam, Tim Tamashiro, Don Berner, Ann Vriend, Bomba, Ben Sures and Tracy James.
