DVD Masters Logo

There's lots of exciting news from our DVD department this month. First, we'd like to announce that we've shortened the name from Digital Video Masters Canada to simply: DVD Masters and completely revamped our DVD website which is now located at: www.dvdmasters.com

Secondly, we'd like to welcome Kim Barker to our ever growing team. Kim has joined us as a closed captioning and subtitling editor. Formerly with Postmaster Digital, she has over 4 years experience in this field and has worked on many movies, T.V. shows, music videos and commercials.

In addition to having in-house captioning and subtitling, we now offer transcribing and translation services. Coupled with our 5.1 audio mixing and mastering studio, short run DVD-R duplication, large run DVD replication and direct Video to DVD transfer services, we are one of the only full service facilities in Canada!

On the equipment side of things, we've added a Sony DVCAM PAL deck, the very latest in Closed Captioning and Subtitling Equipment and several new duplication towers which now support DVD+R and DVD+RW in addition to the industry standard DVD-R and DVD-RW formats. In fact, all our offices have been fully equipped for DVD-R duplication for quite some time.

As always, our goal it to remain on the leading edge of technology and provide the best complement of products and services to our valued customers. In doing so, we've also added a brand new Sonic Scenarist system, the de-facto standard for DVD title production in Hollywood. This is our second Scenarist system and joins a host of other Sonic DVD Creator and Fusion systems in our lab.

Being one of the first DVD authoring facilities in Canada and a beta test site for Sonic, we are proud to say that more DVD titles are created using Sonic products worldwide than on all competing systems combined! For all your DVD encoding, authoring and replication needs, just contact one of our many customer service reps to see what we can do for you!
