News

At Canada Disc & Tape, we're always looking for interesting new products to add to our growing list. This month, we'd like to introduce the Vinyl CD-R by E3 Works. The cool retro look is ideal for archiving your old vinyl onto CD-R or doing a unique CD release for your band. In fact we've recently completed two interesting products using these Vinyl CD-Rs!

Hot Wax CD

The first was a limited edition "Bonus Disc" that was included with the FLOW - 93.5 FM (Toronto) "Hot Wax" CD released by BMG. This excellent compilation was presented by Starting From Scratch and Farley Flex and was mixed by Christopher Michaels. Tracks on the Bonus Disc include: Keep On Moving by Soul II Soul, Poison by Bel Biv Devoe, Treat 'em Right by Chubb Rock, Candy by Cameo, Good Times by Chic and the classic Ladies Night by Kool & the Gang.

Rubber soul CD

The second project was a Beatles compilation produced by Rubber Soul - The Canadian Tribute - the best Beatles tribute group we've ever seen! In fact, they are so good we hired them for our company Christmas Party (for more info, visit: www.rubbersoul.ca). The CD was recorded "live" at Festival Place and is a great souvenir for fans attending the shows of this popular group.

In order to get the right "look" we manufactured custom labels for the Vinyl CD-Rs and have added them to our list at the same price as our Mini CD-R labels. The Vinyl CD-Rs are also available in limited quantities so please contact your nearest customer service rep for more information and pricing.
