February 2003: News![]() At Canada Disc & Tape Inc., we are proud of our long term relationships with our clients. Many recording artists have chosen to use our services over and over again as each new release comes along. And, since we're in our 15th year of business, that amounts to quite a few projects! This month, veteran bluesman Don Johnson releases his 3rd album "Pure Pleasure". Also known as "Donald Ray", he is a Grammy winner who was formerly with the R&B group Taste of Honey (best known for their hit "Boogie Oogie Oogie"). A sampling of the amazing range of CDs available this month are: "Eye Of The Hurricane" by Clan Terra, "Sub Urban" by The Cranston Foundation, "A Timeless Journey Through Jewish Song" by Tsepora, "Straight Jacket Boogie" by Fat Bottom, "T Time" by Norm Walker, "Strings and Hammers" by Martin Janovsky, "The Lost Scriptures" by Internal Affairs, "Balance" by Maelynn Steiner, "Take A Mile" by David K and a compilation of Alberta artists appropriately called "Night of Artists". ![]() Other interesting projects include a double CD set for a play by Mary's Veil Productions, a marketing CD for CoinCard International and a 3 Inch Mini CD for Central Pentecostal College. In addition, we've handled the manufacturing of a compilation of exceptional images on CD for the Professional Photographers of Canada and a CD-Rom entitled "United Nations - Basic Security in the Field" produced by Christie Communications. ![]() And finally, we're pleased to announce that our Victoria office is up and running with Graham Piggott at the helm! Our former Edmonton branch manager left behind the wonderful Alberta winters in favor of an early spring on Vancouver Island and he's delighted to brag about the weather every chance he gets!
